15th IPPT_TWINN Workshop on multilayer film extrusion

The two day workshop on the topic multilayer film extrusion was organized on 22. till 23. of October 2024 and it took place at Polymer Competence Center in Leoben, Austria. 

The two-day workshop focused on the extrusion of thermoplastic materials, beginning with lectures on film extrusion processes and equipment, including multilayer film extrusion. Participants were introduced to the film extrusion line and given a detailed lab tour to familiarize themselves with the machinery and setup. Hands-on workshops included machine preparation, startup procedures, and practical training in process control. Common defects in monolayer film extrusion and their troubleshooting were also covered.
