16th IPPT_TWINN Workshop on Trends in Injection Molding Simulations
The 16th Workshop on Trends in Injection Molding Simulations was held over two days at the premises of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. It began with an introduction to polymer rheology and injection molding simulation theory by Dr. Kolos Molnar, followed by a lecture on building material models from measurement data by Dr. Daniel Torok. Attendees also learned about innovative technologies in plastic injection molding simulation in a lecture by Kiss Balint (Econ Engineering Kft.), and participated in hands-on workshops led by Dr. Jozsef Gabor Kovacs and Dr. Bela Zink on modeling strategies for simulations with different performance levels and evaluating simulation results. The workshop concluded with a session on simulation-based process optimization and interpretation of results, also conducted by Dr. Kovacs and Dr. Zink.
